Office introduction
Rice Research station, Bahawalnagar was established and inaugurated by the Chief Minister Punjab on 22-10-10-2012. The mandate of this research station is to develop improved and diversified rice varieties and production technology.

- Advisory services to stakeholder.
- Provision of basic and certified seed of approved rice varieties.
- Training of stakeholders on rice production, protection technology and rice quality parameters.
Facilities offered to farmers
- Free of cost soil and water analysis for farmers.
- Provision of pure and quality seed of high yielding and new rice varieties.
- Technical guidance to farmers by field visits and seminars.
