Introduction
Multan is the largest city of the Southern Punjab and is known as city saints and shrines. Multan division has four districts (Multan, Lodhran, Vehari and Khanewal). It has a huge agricultural lands and big urban areas. A variety of crops has been sown in Multan such as cotton, wheat, vegetables, fodder and fruit crops etc.
These crops contain insect pests which need to be studied so that management techniques may be devised. It is Sub Station of Entomological Research Institute, Faisalabad. Which works under the administrative control of Research Wing, Punjab Agriculture Department, Lahore. The Chief Scientist, Entomological Research Institute (ERI), Faisalabad is also the head of ERSS, Multan.
