Introduction

Horticultural Research Station Bahawalpur previously was established as Sub-Station under the administration control of Horticulturist, Dera Ghazi Khan in 1982-83 and it was upgraded to Horticultural Research Station Bahawalpur in July, 2003.

  • Technical guidance for establishment of new orchard regarding plant geometry and after care.
  • Advisory service regarding plant protection, nutrition, pruning and harvesting.
  • Creating awareness among farmers through print and electronic media.
  • Field visits to check problem/issue of fruit plants and their proper solution at the spot or after analysis in laboratory testing

Facilities offered to farmers

Provision of certified nursery plants of date palm, ber and pomegranate to the farmers.
