The Punjab Government has announced 3rd phase of the Green Tractor Scheme, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. This phase is specially designed for small and medium farmers across Punjab Province.

Chief Minister Punjab has extended the application date for farmers who have not applied yet.

In Phase III, the government is focusing on small tractors (5o to 65 horsepower) each farmer get subsidy of 5 lacs on each tractor so, that more farmers of Punjab province can benefit and improve their farming activities with modern machinery.

What Is New – Phase III?

The CM Punjab Green Tractor Scheme Phase III is different from earlier phases. In this phase:

  • Only 50–65 horsepower tractors are included details of available tractors mentioned below
  • A total of 10,000 tractors will be provided to the framers of the Punjab province
  • Each Tractor has 5 lac Subsidy by the Govt. of the Punjab
  • Selection will be done end of this month through a digital balloting system by the chief minister of punjab

Eligibility Criteria

Following eligibility criteria is defined by the agriculture department:

  • Resident of Punjab
  • Valid CNIC
  • Farmer must own 5 acres or more land in his own name.

Disqualification (Non-eligibility) Criteria

You are not eligible for Phase 3 of this scheme if:

  • Kissan Card Defaulter: You have unpaid dues or a defaulter of the Kissan Card.
  • Past Winner: You already received a tractor in Green Tractor Scheme Phase 1 or Phase 2 and Wheat Schemes.
  • Small Landholding: You own less than 5 acres of land.
  • Non-Resident: Non Resident of Punjab province.

How to Apply Online

Applying for the CM Punjab Green Tractor Scheme is a simple two-Step process. Please follow these steps to ensure your application is submitted correctly. I am guiding you step by steps for your convenience pictures are also attached.

Step 1: Fill the Application Request Form

Once you click the “Apply Online” button on the website, the Application Request Form will open. Follow these steps:

  1. Enter CNIC: Type your 13-digit National Identity Card number (without dashes) in the “CNIC” box.
  2. Mobile Number: Enter your active mobile phone number. Make sure this phone is with you, as you will receive a code later.
  3. Select Make/Brand: Click the dropdown menu to choose the company (brand) of the tractor you want (e.g., Millat, Al-Ghazi, etc.).
  4. Select Model: Choose the specific tractor model (50 to 65 HP) from the list.
  5. Agree to Terms: Click the small checkbox next to “I agree to the Terms & Conditions of application.”
  6. Solve Captcha: Look at the math problem (e.g., 11 + 8) and type the correct answer in the box.
  7. Submit: Click the green “Submit” button to proceed.

Step 2: OTP Verification & Final Submission

After clicking submit, a new screen for OTP Verification will appear:

  1. Check your SMS: You will receive a 6-digit verification code on the mobile number you provided from Agri. Dep..
  2. Enter Code: Type those 6 digits into the boxes provided on the screen.
  3. Verify OTP: Click the green “Verify OTP” button.
    • Note: If you don’t receive the code within a few minutes, you can click “Resend OTP.”

Success! Once the OTP is verified, your application will be successfully submitted to the system. You will receive a confirmation message on your screen.

Terms and Conditions of Application

Applicants must strictly adhere to the following rules to qualify for the scheme:

  1. Provincial Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Punjab Province.
  2. Identity Verification: A valid CNIC is mandatory for all applicants.
  3. Land Ownership: The applicant must have verified agricultural land ownership of 5 acres or more in their name.
  4. Ineligibility (Previous Winners): Farmers who have previously received subsidized tractors under Phase-1, Phase-2 (High Power), or the Wheat Incentive Program are not eligible to apply.
  5. Financial Status: Current defaulters of the Kissan Card scheme are strictly prohibited from applying.
  6. Verification Authority: The Agriculture Department has the right to verify landholding and credentials through revenue records or field visits.
  7. Ownership Lock-in Period: Any tractor provided under this scheme must remain registered in the name of the applicant for at least three (3) years.
  8. Resale Restriction: Selling or transferring the tractor before the 3-year period expires is a legal offense.
  9. Discrepancy Policy: The government reserves the right to reject any application if discrepancies are found during the verification of documents or field data.
